About the role - you will:

 

  • Define the product EE architecture and lead the EE development for multiple products, by primarily managing out-sourced EE design resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the product development through project phases/milestones.
  • Apply simulations or conduct experiments to analyze EE design concerns, especially in the areas of signal integrity, EMC compliance, power management and PCBA development.
  • Investigate product concepts and underlying technologies to determine technical feasibility and establish product EE design requirements.

  • Excellent listener and communicator – can quickly grasp product design intent from others and clearly articulate EE design objectives and concerns to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understand what it takes to design and deliver Best-In-Class products and solutions.

Your experience includes:

 

Broad-based expertise in EE/PCBA design and analysis, including high-speed digital and analog design techniques.
Expertise in the use of EE/PCBA design CAD and simulation tools (schematics, layout).
Expertise in the integration of high-speed interfaces, such as PCIe, Thunderbolt and USB.
Expertise in optimizing product designs for power and performance.
Expertise in designing high-volume, cost-optimized products.
Ability to successfully lead, innovate and openly collaborate across diverse functional organizations, time zones and cultures.

Supervision and management of projects with international/overseas partners/resources is highly desired.
Knowledge of data storage, HDD and SSD technology is highly desired.
BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent.
