•    Seagate China C3 Lab, a hub for application engineering in storage solutions across industries like Cloud, Video Surveillance, and NAS.
•    We support key Chinese customers by facilitating product and technology qualifications, engaging in collaborative projects, and providing technical support and issue resolution.

•    Our team is composed of talented engineers working on cutting-edge storage products and technologies, including industry-leading HAMR technology.

About the role - you will:

•    Conduct/support product pre-qualification, joint qualification, launch, and sustaining.
•    Conduct/support storage application analysis, reporting, and issue resolution.
•    Drive improvements in HDD product performance, compatibility and stability through software/hardware studies on hard disk drives and customer systems/applications.
•    Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams and cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex product issues and complete projects with customers.
•    Storage related tool/script development and application testing/measurement.

About you:

•    Bachelor or above degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related majors.
•    Good at both Chinese and English communications.
•    A quick learner with excellent teamwork abilities and a willingness to share knowledge.
•    Enthusiastic, self-disciplined, and innovative with strong logical and positive thinking.

Your experience includes:

•    Extensive experience in software or firmware development/testing within the storage industry, particularly related to Video Surveillance and NAS.
•    Storage products (especially HDD/SSD) related development, troubleshooting, or testing expertise.
•    Proficient programming skills in Linux Shell, Python, and C.

You Might Also Have:
•    Knowledge of Linux I/O stack and experience in I/O performance tuning.
•    Familiarity with AI technologies.
