About our group:

C3 (China Cloud Computing) Lab is an engineering team within Seagate's Customer Success organization. We partner with customers and global engineering teams to validate, optimize, and support Seagate storage solutions in China Cloud and Enterprise environments.
Our work spans system performance, reliability, vibration, acoustics, power, compatibility, and In-System Performance (ISP) optimization. By utilizing system integration, automation, and data analytics, we help drive customer success and enable next-generation storage technologies deployment in China key customers.

About the role - you will:

•    Conduct and support HDD In-System-Performance (ISP), HDD Performance, Vibration, Acoustic, and Power consumption related qualification and benchmarking activities for enterprise HDD products.
•    Develop and maintain automated test scripts for processing and analyzing large volumes of performance and qualification data. 
•    Participate in customer qualification programs, technical collaborations, and issue investigations. Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, and solution validation.
•    Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, storage systems. Support test bed deployment and hardware integration activities.
•    Collaborate with global Cross-function team to support customer success.

About you:

•    Bachelor or above degree, Automatic Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering or equivalent science and engineering majors. 
•    Strong analytical & logical thinking skills and Hands-on mindset with problem-solving abilities. 
•    Passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
•    Excellent teamwork and communication skills, willing to share.
•    Able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English.

Your experience includes:

•    Basic understanding of PC, workstation, server hardware architecture, storage devices such as HDDs and SSDs.
•    Experience working with Linux systems or similar command-line environments.
•    Familiar with at least one coding language, Python, Shell, C/C++, Java to support scripting, automation task and statistics / performance analysis. 
•    Hands-on experience assembling, configuring, or troubleshooting computer systems is preferred.
•    Experience with storage performance testing tools such as FIO, IOMeter, or similar tools is preferred.
•    Artificial Intelligence (AI) related projects or experience is highly preferred.

Location:

Located in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub, where nearly 5,000 employees deliver technical services, customer test, manufacturing, and support capabilities.
