About the role - you will:

• Closely collaborate with teammates and stakeholders around the world to develop creative solutions to complex problems through clear, engaging, and compelling visual communications that align with Seagate’s brand & identity standards.
• Use an audience-centric approach to translate client needs and communication strategies into mockups and functional visuals that align with program themes and Seagate brand standards.
• Bring high-quality visual concepts to life through multi-channel campaigns that include fact sheets, infographics, newsletters, presentations, web content, articles, email messages, videos, posters, digital signs, social media content, and more.
• Flexibly and proactively manage the timely delivery of all design assets – working through client requests, revisions, final approvals and publishing.
• Explore and advise on ways to improve the reach and impact of Seagate’s internal communications.
• Contribute to additional projects where needed, including event management (virtual and on-site), content creation and publishing, survey administration, web content management, user experience research, reporting campaign metrics, and more.

About you:

• Current student in a Bachelor's program studying Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field and returning to school in Fall 2026.
• Motivated to work independently, meet deadlines, and proactively provide updates to necessary stakeholders.
• Collaborative and passionate about building productive working relationships with team members and clients.
• Detail-oriented with high standards for quality.
• Capable of telling an excellent visual story that incorporates necessary direction to achieve intended goals.
• Confident and clear in your ability to articulate your creative vision, concepts, and design decisions.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
• Flexible and patient on projects with short turnaround times.
• An excellent interpersonal communicator – both written and verbally.
• Familiar with leading trends in graphic design, technology, social media, and other relevant fields.

Your experience includes:

• Proven understanding of how visual design contributes to overall brand identity.
• Proficiency in various software packages – including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with multi-channel communications environments and proficiency in producing visual assets optimized for various channels.
• Ability to design using Apple and/or personal computer (PC) platforms.

You May Also Have:
• Experience working for international companies – especially in technology, science, and engineering environments.
• Experience working in an internal communications, employee communications, or public relations role.
• Experience with Microsoft enterprise collaboration tools – including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams, and Forms.
• Experience with video production – including content capture, motion graphics, and post-production.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design, website administration, and content management systems (CMS).
• Background in Human Resources – or a general understanding of HR programs, standards and practices.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
