Content Marketing Strategist

The Integrated Marketing team is part of the Global Marketing Organization. Our group leads the overall strategy, development, execution and optimization of integrated marketing across all Seagate businesses: Enterprise, Client, and Consumer. We identify the marketing mix, lead the development of the campaign components and support programs that increases Seagate brand awareness and drive demand generation.

About the role - you will:

  • Report to the Director of Integrated Marketing, and be responsible for leading the execution of one of Seagate’s Enterprise content marketing programs, including helping to shape content strategy and managing operations, ideation, development, and optimization.
  • Hold responsibilities for managing the content supply chain, with strong focus on Seagate’s emerging Lyve storage solutions portfolio.
  • Work alongside the Global Integrated Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for creating unique and engaging content experiences which resonate and drive education with Seagate’s enterprise end-user audiences.
  • Write,brief and drive content creation, including development of articles, blog posts, research reports, whitepapers, infographics,video, presentations and other marketing assets.
  • Interlock with a smart and inspiring teams across Campaigns, Product Marketing, Web, Analytics, Creative and Demand Generation teams to produce quality content that fuels multi-channel marketing programs. You will help own and maintain the marketing content calendar and library.
  • Plan, align and track global content creation and curation efforts to a monthly plan.
  • Consult with cross-functional SME’s inside and outside of corporate marketing as well as help manage our agency and freelance networks.
  • Maintain a dashboard tracking reach and engagement achievements and in-flight initiatives for executive reporting.
  • Measure, track, and analyze content engagement and performance and drive improvement.

About you:

  • Understand and be truly passionate about creating world class B2B content experiences for technical, enterprise audiences.
  • High analytical with strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and take leadership initiative.

Your experience includes:

  • Creative, proactive, journalistic approach to content ideation, outline development and collaboration with SME’s and senior executives.
  • Strong interest or knowledge in either data center, cloud, enterprise SaaS
  • Experience with leading or working in a dedicated content marketing function in a B2B industry.
  • A passion for brand storytelling, editorial quality, visual aesthetic and power of great content.
  • A curiosity for digital marketing technologies, tools and approaches.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing frameworks and processes, campaigns, demand generation, lead capture and nurture
  • Bachelor's Degree and / or previous experience
