About our group:
The Payroll and General Ledger (GL) Accounting team leads critical accounting and compliance processes for the organization, including end to end payroll accounting, payroll tax accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and month end close activities. The team is responsible for ensuring accurate recording of payroll-related transactions, resolving complex accounting issues, supporting audits, and interpreting and applying accounting policies related to compensation, benefits, and taxes. We partner closely with HR, Benefits, Stock Administration, Treasury, and Finance teams globally to support timely close, reporting accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
The Senior Payroll Analyst role is a highly visible position that offers strong opportunities for growth and cross functional exposure. This role leverages accounting expertise to support key payroll and GL processes, including complex payroll and compensation-related accounting transactions, detailed account reconciliations, analysis of payroll and GL balances, and review of financial statement impacts. The position also contributes to accounting policy research, internal controls, and special projects aimed at improving accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across payroll and GL operations.
About the role - you will:
• Oversee biweekly payroll processing for the U.S. and Canada, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Review and approve payroll runs prior to transmission, validating accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with HR, Stock Administration, Accounting, and ADP to identify, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Monitor, track, and drive timely resolution of open payroll issues and tickets.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all employee payments, including off cycle and special payments.
• Support month end close activities related to payroll, including accruals, reconciliations, and payroll related GL entries.
• Assist with year end payroll reporting and filings, including W 2s, and support payroll tax amendments as needed.
• Support new state payroll tax registrations and ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and wage and hour laws.
• Collaborate with Accounting on payroll related matters, including audits, reconciliations, and policy interpretation.
• Drive payroll process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
• Support and provide guidance to payroll team members.
• Actively participate in meetings and provide clear status updates on payroll activities and issues.
• Support project execution, deliverables, and other special projects as assigned.

Your experience includes:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in payroll within a public company.
• Experience with ADP (required).
• CPP a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $99,000 - $142,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
