We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented leader to drive our global demand planning and fulfillment strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping our end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, enhancing forecast accuracy, and aligning with the procurement models of leading cloud service providers. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in demand planning, customer collaboration, order management, and digital transformation across global supply chains.

About the role - you will:

  • Lead the global demand planning function, aligning with corporate goals and customer needs.
  • Champion the transformation from commodity-based to build-to-order planning models.
  • Drive strategic co-planning initiatives with global Account management teams and customers to align demand forecasts and supply responses.
  • Serve as the strategic interface for cloud service provider accounts, managing demand forecasts, supply commitments, and fulfillment execution
  • Partner with customers on consumption models and infrastructure roadmaps assumptions and translate that into actionable demand and supply plans
  • Lead and Facilitate Quarterly Business Planning (QBP) cycles and joint analysis of market trends, product transitions, and long-term demand visibility.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and AM to evolve the end-to-end S&OP workflow, integrating demand, supply, and revenue planning.
  • Lead cross-functional forums to reconcile supply gaps, product mix changes, and capacity planning across fiscal horizons.
  • Transform order-to-cash processes including order capture, ATP (Available to Promise), delivery scheduling, and shipment execution.
  • Ensure alignment between demand signals and supply commits, avoiding over-commitment and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Review and transform with Strategic SDA teams , Account management and operations teams to manage backlog, delivery blocks, and PGI (Post Goods Issue) processes.
  • Spearhead the digitization of planning and fulfillment processes using SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Implement predictive analytics and automation to enhance planning efficiency and execution accuracy.
  • Apply deep understanding of cloud service provider procurement models, including hyperscaler consumption patterns and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) dynamics.
  • Leverage international experience to navigate diverse supply chain environments and customer ecosystems.
  • Lead geographically distributed teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Forecast Accuracy: Sustain >90% forecast accuracy across key product lines and regions.
  • Customer Collaboration: Increase forecast participation rate and reduce demand variability through joint planning.
  • Order Fulfillment: Achieve on-time delivery and order confirmation accuracy.
  • Supply Commit Integrity: Eliminate double commits and maintain alignment between demand and supply commits.
  • Digital Transformation: Complete SAP IBP rollout within 18 months; achieve >90% user adoption.
  • Team Engagement: Maintain >85% team engagement score and develop succession plans for all key roles.

About you:

  • Proven track record in senior leadership roles within demand or supply planning.
  • Extensive experience in customer collaboration, order management, and supply commit processes.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end S&OP, ATP, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP IBP and advanced analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working outside the United States in supply chain or planning roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware industry, especially cloud service provider procurement models.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Location:

This is a remote San Francisco Bay Area position. #LI-Remote United States; This is a fully remote opportunity.  
 
The estimated base salary range for this Bay Area position is $223,000 - $330,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
