You will be part of the Media Development organization at Seagate. In this role, you will work in a collaborative team environment, partnering with technicians, senior engineers, and management. About the role - you will:

  • Build hard drives and perform media swap processes by following established procedures with a high degree of precision and attention to detail
  • Conduct drive testing on assembled units to ensure performance and quality standards are met
  • Perform first-level failure analysis, including troubleshooting hardware and test code issues, and recommend corrective actions
  • Execute experiments and support engineering projects related to drive development

About you:

  • You demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • You have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • You are a fast learner with a willingness to continuously develop new skills
  • You possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • You are comfortable working in a cleanroom environment

Your experience includes:

  • Experience with testing, test algorithms, or tester mechanics is a plus
  • Knowledge of hard drive systems, media processes, or testing methodologies is a plus

The estimated base wage range for this position is $28.11 - $40.00/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
