HAMR Advanced Media Technology Staging group supports PMR to create an innovative, supportive and collaborative team environment

About the role - you will:

 

  • Be responsible for media testing, data collections and summarizing test results.
  • Perform test Set-up, head change & head qualification, tester calibration, basic diagnostic.  
  • Troubleshoot on various VTS spin-stand testers and other testers.
  • Be able to follow and understand specifications and procedures.
  • Work and support test engineers to perform different test assignment and special projects.
  • Learn and support other tools as required.

About you:

 

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Perform one or more steps of ongoing business processes or programs requiring considerable judgment and decision-making skills
  • Basic PC operation abilities.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Working in a clean room environment.
  • Flexible, reliable, and productive.
  • Be able to comply with overtime requirements.
  • Hands-on experience on head media electrical characterizations or related fields.

 

 

You might also have: 

 

  • High school diploma or AS degree OR equivalent experience

The estimated base wage range for this position is $25.33 - $36.22/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
