About the role - you will:

 

  • Develop and execute creative copywriting strategies to communicate brand messaging and key value propositions effectively.
  • Write and edit engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas and concepts.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, and aligned with brand guidelines and style standards.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audience needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Review and provide feedback on content to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in copywriting and content marketing.

Your approach is strategic, your curiosity insatiable, and above all, you're eager to dive in headfirst and embrace the learning journey ahead.

As an Editorial Intern on the Brand Creative Team, you'll have the opportunity to hone your skills in crafting engaging long-form content while also gaining experience in producing compelling short-form content.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and workflow management tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong collaborative skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field and must be enrolled in Fall 2025 classes.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $22 - $31/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns paid time off, including 12 holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
