The Brand Marketing team at Seagate sits at the center of our global brand strategy and reputation. As a key function within our broader Corporate Marketing organization, we lead strategy and execution across brand, content, thought leadership, and digital storytelling. We are a global, cross-functional group of strategists, writers, creatives, and communicators working to reimagine how Seagate shows up in the world - anchored in innovation and trust.
You will report directly to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and work closely with partners in Brand Creative, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, PR, and Marketing Operations to build an integrated digital editorial strategy that drives brand value and audience engagement.
About the role - you will:
Develop and lead the digital distribution and editorial strategy across Seagate’s owned platforms: social media, web, blog, podcast, brand newsroom, and email. Shape and evolve Seagate’s brand narrative through compelling, multi-format storytelling. Lead a team of brand and digital strategists and creators Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders to align storytelling across brand, product, and demand functions. Oversee the creation and dissemination of digital content that is audience-centric, performance-driven, and platform-optimized. Build and lead Seagate’s brand journalism function, uniting internal and external storytellers around a cohesive editorial voice. Manage brand reputation in digital spaces in collaboration with community management, PR, and customer support. Develop and activate a social brand evangelism and employee advocacy program to amplify Seagate’s voice through its people. Continuously measure and optimize the experience across owned digital platforms.
About you:
You are a natural storyteller and digital strategist who understands the power of narrative in building brand relevance. You are both creative and analytical, driven by data and inspired by bold ideas. You’re collaborative, articulate, and able to influence senior stakeholders. You lead with empathy, build strong teams, and bring out the best in others. You embody values of objectivity, curiosity, and kindness.
Your experience includes:
Career experience in content, digital, and social marketing for major brands—ideally with a mix of agency and in-house leadership. Proven success in enterprise B2B and consumer tech environments. Extensive experience leading digital marketing teams across organic and paid social, editorial strategy, and storytelling. Expertise in managing digital content experiences across web, social, and emerging platforms. Deep knowledge of brand journalism, editorial planning, and content marketing best practices. Demonstrated ability to drive integrated campaigns across multiple channels and stakeholder groups. Strong communication, writing, and leadership skills. Experience with employee advocacy, influencer marketing, and modern storytelling formats, especially video. You might also have: Experience managing podcasts, newsletters, forums, and community-driven media. A background in journalism, media, or film Agency experience and/or experience working across global time zones and platforms.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $236,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
