About the role - you will:

 

  • Assist in designing digital and print materials, including marketing assets, event materials, and presentations.
  • Support the development of brand-aligned visuals that effectively communicate key messages and resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and other designers to conceptualize and execute creative projects.
  • Work with project managers to meet all project deadlines.
  • Maintain and uphold brand consistency across all design touchpoints.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to campaigns and initiatives.
  • Prepare and organize design files, ensuring they are production-ready and properly formatted.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.

You are a creative thinker with a keen eye for design and an innate ability to bring ideas to life visually. You love exploring layouts, typography, and color palettes, balancing aesthetics with functionality to create compelling visuals. Whether it’s developing brand assets, designing social media graphics, or refining the details of a larger campaign, you find joy in crafting designs that tell a story.

Collaboration excites you—you thrive on brainstorming with others, iterating on feedback, and refining your work until it’s just right. At the same time, you’re comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and managing multiple projects. Above all, you’re eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a fast-paced creative environment.

 

As a Design Intern on the Brand Creative Team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in visual storytelling, digital design, and branding while working alongside seasoned designers, writers, and marketers.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft PowerPoint and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field and enrolled in Fall 2025 classes.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $22 - $31/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns paid time off, including 12 holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
