About our group:
The Senior Learning & Development Partner / Program Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering impactful learning solutions that strengthen workforce capability at the Springtown site while contributing to Global Learning & Development initiatives across Seagate.
This role combines site based L&D leadership with end-to-end program management. The incumbent serves as a trusted partner to the site leadership, while also operating as a key member of the Global Learning & Development organization—translating global strategy into local impact and scaling best practices back into the enterprise.
The role ensures that learning solutions are strategically aligned, operationally excellent, digitally enabled, and future focused, supporting evolving skills needs in a manufacturing and technology-driven environment.

1. Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary Learning & Development partner to the Site Leadership Team, advising on workforce capability, skills priorities, and talent risks.
• Align site level learning priorities with long-term business strategy, including capacity building, succession readiness, and technical excellence.
• Partner closely with Global L&D leaders, HR partners, and functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared outcomes.
• Provide data driven insights on learning effectiveness, workforce readiness, and skills gaps to support informed decision-making.
• Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of global learning initiatives (e.g., leadership development, compliance, AI-enabled learning) at the Springtown site.
• Manage learning programs through the full lifecycle, including program planning, scheduling, communications, logistics, platform setup, and tracking.
• Support program design and content development through research, vendor coordination, and stakeholder input.
• Monitor program performance and learner feedback, preparing reports and dashboards that communicate outcomes, insights, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement of Global L&D ways of working.
• Design and oversee site specific technical and capability development initiatives aligned to the needs of manufacturing, engineering, and R&D populations.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and site leaders to manage apprenticeship, graduate, and early career programs, ensuring a strong and  talent pipeline.
• Enable effective knowledge transfer, skill development, and upskilling, leveraging digital and AI-enabled learning where appropriate.
• Ensure all mandatory and regulatory is delivered, tracked, and documented in line with internal and external audit requirements.
• Apply a skills based mindset to learning design and talent development, supporting skills visibility, development, and deployment.
• Leverage learning platforms, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance learning workflows, scalability, and learner experience.
• Support integration of learning data with broader skills, talent, and workforce planning initiatives where applicable.
About you:

Your experience includes:
• Experience leading or managing complex learning programs with multiple workstreams or stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence outcomes.
• A minimum of five years of experience in Learning & Development, HR program management, or related talent roles.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and digital learning tools.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience translating data into insights and actions.

This is a Full-Time position working 39 hours per week, on-site working. This role requires presence at the Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland site. Virtual or remote working arrangements are not available for this position.
