About the role - you will:
As R&D Wafer Process Integration Manager, you will lead the definition, integration, and maturation of advanced wafer process flows for future magnetic recording technologies. You will:
• Own end to end wafer process integration for R&D and technology development programs
• Architect integrated wafer flows spanning lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, and metrology
• Drive technology readiness, process robustness, and integration learning
• Lead cross module trade offs to balance performance, manufacturability, and risk
• Translate device and product requirements into executable wafer integration strategies
• Partner closely with device, design, materials, and manufacturing interface teams
• Lead and develop a team of R&D process integration engineers
• Champion data driven root cause analysis and disciplined integration learning
• Ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards are embedded in R&D execution
About you:
You are a technically credible hands on wafer integrator who has stepped into people leadership and wants to shape future technology not just sustain today’s processes. You bring:
• Strong system level thinking across complex wafer flows
• Confidence making integration decisions under technical uncertainty
• A collaborative leadership style with clear ownership and accountability
• The ability to align diverse technical teams around a single integration narrative
• A genuine interest in developing engineers and future technical leaders
Your experience includes:

• Strong background in R&D or advanced wafer process integration
• Hands on or technical expertise across:
• Lithography
• Etch
• Thin film deposition
• CMP
• Experience driving integration learning, yield improvement, and defect reduction
• Exposure to technology development, NPI, or transfer to manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with complex wafer data sets
• Experience supporting next node or next generation technology platforms
• Background in magnetic, recording head, or advanced materials systems
• Familiarity with structured problem solving or design for manufacturing approaches
• Experience collaborating across global R&D and manufacturing organizations
