About our group:
The Manufacturing Department in the Springtown facility is responsible for the manufacturing of the product, in Wafer format, to meet customer schedule. The product moves between multiple tools and processes, with a total build cycle time in excess of 6 months. The team consists of a Manufacturing Specialist (Production Operator) headcount in excess of 750, allocated to one of 4 shift teams. The department allocates personnel to run the tools, move the product, with attention to teamwork, throughput and quality of product.
About the role - you will:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will have responsibility for the direction, motivation, and performance of a team of manufacturing specialists engaged in the manufacturing process. Your role has the responsibility of maintaining a safe working environment, managing a team of up to 35 Manufacturing Specialists, engaging cross functionally to meet the standards and operational performance expected of your team. You will already be an effective leader, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop your team members in a manufacturing environment. You will:
