About the role - you will:

 

As an Associate Internal Auditor:

 

You will be part of a collaborative team that is responsible for completing internal audit activities in accordance with the standards established by the Institute of Internal Auditors.  You’ll learn from experienced professionals while contributing to meaningful projects.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Partnering with senior auditors to plan, execute, and follow up on operational and compliance audits. 
  • Preparing clear and accurate work-papers that document work performed, testing results and conclusions. 
  • Assisting in the development of practical recommendations to improve processes and controls.
  • Supporting the Internal Audit team in working with management to develop acceptable solutions to address issues or gaps.
  • Learn/perform testing of SOX controls with guidance from senior team members.
  • Preparing draft audit findings, including observations and recommendations.
  • Participating in risk assessments and learning how to identify potential areas of concern.
  • Supporting other Internal Audit activities as assigned.

Your experience includes:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, data analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience, i.e. 1 to 2 years of internal, or external audit, and /or general accounting experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

 

  • You may also have:


An interest in pursuing a professional certification, such as Certified Internal Auditor.

This is a Full-Time position working 39 hours per week. Hybrid work schedule working from home and coming to the office.
