As an Equipment Control & Data Analytics Intern, you will support and collaborate with Equipment Engineers to keep cutting edge semiconductor equipment performing at its best.
You will explore the latest Industry 5.0 technologies, from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning for predictive analytics to Big Data for data driven decision making, Collaborative Robots (Cobots) working alongside humans and innovations in IoT, AR/VR, automation, and advanced control systems. Using these tools and analytics, you will help solve real problems, boost reliability and drive factory excellence. To ensure that all new Interns can benefit as effectively as possible during their time here, we offer an 11 month development opportunity called Campus to Corporate Training Program.
This Program is in place to prepare and support you by equipping you with the skills, knowledge and tools that assist you to succeed.

About the role - you will:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic individual to work as an Equipment Control & Data Analytics Intern. This is an 11-month Internship starting on Monday, 31st August 2026 and finishing Friday, 20th August 2027. • Dive into data: Capture and analyse Equipment performance data to unlock insights and boost reliability
• Bring tech to life: Help integrate sensors and smart technologies into complex systems to make them smarter
• Shape the future: Contribute to interactive dashboards and automation workflows that keep the factory running
• Innovate with the best: Collaborate on projects using AI, Big Data, and Cobots - pushing the boundaries of Industry
• Experiment and innovate: Test emerging technologies to see how they can transform equipment performance
• Turn data into decisions: Use predictive analytics and machine learning models to anticipate issues
• Visualise the future: Build intuitive dashboards that make complex data simple and actionable for Engineers
• Learn from the best: Shadow experienced Engineers and gain hands on exposure on advanced control systems
• Think global: Work with cross functional teams and experts across Seagate sites worldwide to share ideas
About you:
• Be available to start your internship on 31st August 2026 and finish on 20th August 2027
• Currently studying 3rd level honours degree in one of the following disciplines: Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Software, Data Analytics or another related technical field such as Robotics or Mechatronics that requires Industrial placement as part of a sandwich course

• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
• Course projects that show you are ready to apply theory to real world challenges
• Exposure to automation, IoT or control systems
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts or predictive analytics
• Interest in robotics or cobots in manufacturing environments
• Great communication skills to share ideas and collaborate effectively
