Seagate is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Program/Project Manager to join the HR Digital and Data Enablement Team, which leverages technology to streamline processes, enhance data integrity, and improve user productivity and efficiency. We focus on creating and scaling continuous improvement and process management methodologies as part of the Business Process Management (BPM) framework.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the employee life cycle. 

About the role - you will:

 

  • Manage and lead programs focusing on driving adoption for various initiatives across the employee life cycle to improve the digital employee experience. Initiatives include but are not limited to: Business Process Management, AI-driven productivity/efficiency tools, software/platform transitions, user interface improvements.
  • Act as business analyst to understand and map business processes to identify opportunities for streamlining, improving, and/or incorporating AI.
  • Incorporate Lean Six Sigma best practices into BPM methodologies.
  • Manage full life cycle of large-scale systems programs (gather and document requirements, determine project plan, obtain stakeholder buy-in, assemble teams, manage timelines and present updates to stakeholders).
  • Create communications and change management plans with stakeholders.
  • Conduct usability and user testing of HR systems and user-facing tools.  
  • Research, recommend, and pilot leading-edge HR technology in partnership with key stakeholders across the employee life cycle.
  • Act as liaison and develop global stakeholder relationships both in person and virtually with cross-functional groups: HR, IT, manufacturing, leaders.

About you:

 

  • Strong ability to work with groups to map processes, identify gaps, and implement meaningful improvements.
  • Ability to apply Lean Six Sigma best practices to process improvement initiatives.
  • Must be able to work well (both in person and virtually) with a diverse global team and all levels of the organization.
  • Data analysis skills that inform group/strategic decisions.
  • Organizational skills with strong attention to detail including task management and follow-up.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Self-directed with demonstrated initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in process improvement, project management, or related roles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills (creating detailed and accurate requirements documentation and project plans, building strong teams, and driving projects to completion).
  • Expertise in business analysis, data analysis, and HR technology.
  • Strong technical understanding and capability with systems.

 

You may also have:

 

  • Strong working knowledge or application of AI tools and AI adoption strategies in process improvement initiatives
  • An understanding of the digital employee experience.
  • Microsoft O365 Suite and SharePoint site development
