Contamination Control Engineer (CCE) is responsible for preventing and controlling contamination risks throughout Seagate’s manufacturing processes and cleanroom environments. The team plays a key role in ensuring product quality and reliability by monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating contamination sources. Working closely with cross-functional teams, CCA develops and implements solutions that support world-class cleanliness standards and manufacturing excellence.
About the role - you will:
• Develop an application that imports and consolidates the raw data for routine monitoring, and organized by needed parameters such as work week, production line, and sampling location.
• Standardize and validate records the data. Automate alert report/information in abnormal case.
• Build an interactive dashboard with selectable consecutive week ranges and one or multiple production lines, showing trends, comparisons and approved specifications and trigger indicators.
• Automatically generate exportable reports that reflect the selected filters and check calculations and outputs against existing monitoring reports.
• Work with a mentor and team of users to test and refine the solution, then hand over a working application, dashboard, reporting functions, and user guide.#internship
About you:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python or another language suitable for data processing and application development.
• Experience reading, cleaning, transforming, and consolidating Excel data; familiarity with Pandas and Openpyxl or equivalent tools.
• Coursework or project experience developing an interactive dashboard or application with data filtering and visualization (PowerBI, Tableau, etc).
• Ability to validate data and calculations, handle missing and duplicate records, and verify report accuracy.
• Familiarity with Streamlit, Dash, Plotly, SQL, Git, or equivalent tools is an advantage.
