The Seagate Global Infrastructure Systems group is a highly technical team responsible for the design, development, and deployment of critical infrastructure across all Seagate global sites. The Global Infrastructure teams are located worldwide, with representation in Springtown, Europe and across Asia and the US. This requires significant collaboration from all members of our global team.

Reporting to the Windows and Virtualization Tower Manager, you will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining critical infrastructure worldwide to keep Seagate operations running effectively and efficiently.

About the role - you will:


•    Optimize existing server Infrastructure (Memory, CPU and Storage) across all Seagate sites, to run 24/7, 365 days per year.
•    Protect Seagate’s Intellectual property by maintaining security patch compliance across all assets
•    Build, deploy and extend new and existing systems in support of Seagate’s growing Business demand
•    Lead critical, time sensitive programs which improve Seagate’s availability and performance
•    Develop and enhance key infrastructure components such as VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes using technology such Ansible, Zabbix, CyberArk, Shell Scripting & Actifio amongst others

About you:


•    Outstanding visual, verbal and written communication skills 
•    Exceptional problem-solving skills, with ability to employ innovative methods to answer research questions 
•    Comfortable communicating across a diverse set of internal functions up to and including executive level 
•    A strong self-starter who is highly organized and can work well with minimal direction 
•    Ability to operate collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic, highly cross-functional, rapidly changing environment 
•    Offer a strategic perspective, sound business judgment, strong intellectual curiosity and a highly collaborative working style 

Your experience includes:


•    Management of large-scale global environment
•    Microsoft Server OS hardening, File Services, DFS/Storage Replica, SCCM/WSUS, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell Scripting experience
•    VMware Expertise
•    Bachelor’s degree in Technology or equivalent education and 8+ years’ experience or Master’s degree in the same and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent education and experience
