Seagate's Commodity Management Team is a global team that plays a pivotal role in managing the mechanical supply base for Seagate System/HDD products. We oversee the entire spectrum of activities, from sourcing strategy and price negotiation to allocation decisions, contract management, supply chain business continuity, and risk mitigation. These responsibilities directly impact our products' raw material cost, influencing our Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and profit margins.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Staff Commodity Manager to join our dynamic team in Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing and commodity management of our chemical and gasses supply chain, collaborating with global internal teams and external suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing strategies. Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina, and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate. The estimated base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $136,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
