Manufacturing Specialist I - B Shift

About our group:

The Recording Head Operations team is looking for a Manufacturing Specialist I for the B Shift (Weeknights 6:30 pm - 6:30 am; Mon-Wed, every other Thur.)  In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of the production process, including equipment set-up and maintenance, production/fabrication, test, production training, and machine/tool making.

About the role - you will:

• Be responsible for activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
• Set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company’s products
• Work from process sheet or written/verbal instructions
• Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.  Includes all assembly, fabrication and machine operation jobs
• Operate machinery or computer devices to produce a product or service

Your experience includes:

• Experience operating wafer production equipment
• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery

Location:

The estimated base wage range for this position is $17.34/hr - $24.33/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
