About the role - you will:
• Lead strategic and tactical projects and deliverables to design, deploy, and enhance the MES systems. **Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available with this position
• Create automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and process yield using professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and understand their challenges and opportunities. Then work with those teams to implement and scale changes and enhancements. This collaboration includes process engineering, wafer operations, factory control systems, and the global IT support teams to drive best practices across the organizations.
• Support the MES applications with day-to-day activities as well as during upgrades to the applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Be an engaged member of a cross‑site, virtual GenAI adopter group, collaborating through regular forums to exchange ideas, review outcomes, and learn from both successful and unsuccessful GenAI agent deployments.
About you:
• Degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Engineering or related technical, or equivalent practical experience.
• Will work across departments to solve complex problems.
• Will concurrently support multiple projects and customers.
• Curious and practical about GenAI. Experience with, or strong desire to learn, how to build and deploy GenAI agents to automate and streamline operational workflows.
• Have an automation mindset. Continually looks for repeatable work to standardize and automate processes. Think out-of-the box. Are a problem solver.
• Have excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Work with the Global Factory IT Team to drive transformation through the strategic adoption and adaptation of AI solutions, aiming to develop improved MES services more efficiently.
Your experience includes:
• Experience using statistical analysis programs. You may also have:
• Knowledge and application of Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Knowledge and application of Visual Programming Language / Workflow programming.
• Strong coding skills that could include .NET, C#, Java, Python.
• Knowledge of data formats such as Json & XML.
• General knowledge of wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing.
• General knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
• Experience of RDBMS Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Experience in the development of machine learning (AI) solutions.
• Experience or interest in developing Python agents (LangChain or similar) and/or n8n workflows that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) non-developers can run and extend and experience using or building MCP servers/tools.
• Experience in messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $82,500 - $116,500. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
