In this role as a part of the Wafer Equipment Engineering Services, you will be working in a team environment. You will interact with a range of team members from technicians, operators, senior engineers and management. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and learn from others on the team. About the role - you will:

 

· Learn how to maintain, troubleshoot and repair Photolithography/Plating/Test/Vacuum equipment in a Wafer fabrication environment

· Understand and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures as directed

· Training with and supporting existing technicians on a wide variety of technical skills

· Expand your career opportunities by gaining the necessary training to perform the job duties of a Wafer Equipment Engineering Specialist

· Work towards the experience necessary to apply for an Equipment Engineering Specialist position, when these positions become available

· Must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week

About you:

 

· Ambitious to keep growing professionally

· Familiar with Wafer Fab Equipment

· Mechanical aptitude including the ability to use common tools to repair equipment

· You need to be a self-starter who is willing to work in small teams to gain the necessary skills to perform all maintenance activities on the equipment

· You will need to have the critical thinking skills to evaluate complex problems and a willingness to follow all available documentation

Your experience includes:

 

· Experience with MS Office

· Currently studying for an AAS technical degree (at least one semester completed) and must be enrolled in Fall 2026 coursework.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $22 - $29/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

 

Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns paid time off, including 12 holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
