The HR Rotational Program is a 12-week immersive experience designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of various HR functions. Participants will gain hands-on experience in on-site HR operations, strategic partnerships, and professional development. They will deepen their understanding of Seagate’s culture, HR strategies, and leadership principles. The program also emphasizes mentorship and networking, allowing participants to build relationships with HR leaders and cross-functional teams. This Program allows you to engage in structured training, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact our people and business.

About the role - you will:

 

Support day-to-day HR activities and initiatives at your assigned location, gaining exposure to real-time challenges and solutions. 

Collaborate with COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions that drive business outcomes. 

Participate in curated programming designed to deepen your understanding of Seagate’s culture, HR strategy, and leadership development.

Build relationships with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to expand your career network and knowledge base 

Assist in resolving employee concerns, documenting cases, and supporting investigations in partnership with the Employee Relations team.

Assist in compiling HR metrics and dashboards to support decision-making and identify trends. 

Contribute to HR-related projects by managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering outcomes that support business goals.

Your experience includes:

 

 

  • Aptitude to work strategically in a variety of functions and environments with a global mindset  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills   

  • Competency in Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams   

  • Willingness to work in a dynamic collaborative environment  

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field

Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate. The estimated base wage range for this position is $22- $30/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
