About our group:

 

We are seeking an HR Process, Technology & AI Transformation Business Analyst to support the transformation of HR programs through process improvement, technology enablement, and emerging AI capabilities. This role will help analyze current-state processes, identify opportunities to simplify work, improve employee and manager experiences, and support the design and implementation of AI-enabled solutions within SAP SuccessFactors. 

 

This role sits on the business side of HR, partnering with HR program owners, Digital Enablement, People Analytics, and IT to gather requirements, document business needs, facilitate process discussions, and support solution delivery. 

 

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of HR programs, experience documenting business and process requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Success in this role requires curiosity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. 

 

This role is not responsible for system configuration, platform administration, or AI development. Instead, it focuses on supporting HR transformation initiatives through process analysis, business requirements, stakeholder engagement, testing, and adoption activities. 

About the role - you will:

 

 

Business & Process Transformation 

 

  • Partner with HR program owners to analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience. 

  • Support the documentation and design of future-state HR processes that leverage automation, embedded intelligence, and SAP SuccessFactors capabilities. 

  • Identify manual activities, process pain points, and workflow inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for improvement. 

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, process mapping workshops, and stakeholder discussions in support of transformation initiatives. 

  • Assist in translating business needs into documented process requirements and desired business outcomes. 

 

AI-Enabled HR Program Design 

 

  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements that support AI-enabled HR experiences, including embedded guidance, automation, skills-based capabilities, and data-driven decision support. 

  • Translate business challenges into clearly documented AI and automation use cases, including desired outcomes, process impacts, and adoption considerations. 

  • Partner with Digital Enablement, People Analytics, and IT to evaluate opportunities, feasibility, and readiness for AI-enabled capabilities. 

  • Assist in documenting business processes, user journeys, and experience requirements for AI-enabled solutions. 

 

SAP SuccessFactors & Technology Enablement 

 

  • Serve as a business analyst supporting HR initiatives leveraging SAP SuccessFactors, including Employee Central, Talent modules, Reporting, and Talent Intelligence Hub. 

  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional needs for HR technology initiatives. 

  • Participate in solution reviews, impact assessments, testing activities, and business validation processes. 

  • Partner with IT and solution teams to ensure business requirements are accurately understood and reflected in proposed solutions. 

  • Maintain process and requirements documentation throughout project lifecycles. 

 

Data & AI Readiness 

 

  • Support efforts to document business requirements related to HR data, skills frameworks, and job architecture initiatives. 

  • Partner with People Analytics and HR stakeholders to understand reporting, workforce intelligence, and data requirements associated with HR programs. 

  • Assist in identifying data dependencies and process considerations needed to support AI-enabled capabilities. 

  • Contribute to documentation and governance activities that support consistent use of HR data across programs. 

 

Change, Adoption & Enablement 

 

  • Develop business-friendly process documentation, stakeholder materials, and training resources. 

  • Support change impact assessments and adoption planning activities. 

  • Assist stakeholders in understanding process changes, new workflows, and technology-enabled capabilities. 

  • Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 

  • Help translate transformation initiatives into practical, understandable experiences for employees, managers, and HR teams. 

About you:

 

  • HR Technology & AI Fluency: Familiarity with HR technology platforms and emerging AI capabilities, with the ability to participate effectively in business process and solution discussions. 

 

  • Handling Complexity & Ambiguity: Comfortable operating in evolving environments and able to synthesize complex information into clear requirements, recommendations, and documentation

 

  • Analytical & Creative Problem Solving: Able to evaluate business challenges, explore alternative approaches, and support the development of practical solutions. 

 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective collaborator across HR, Digital Enablement, People Analytics, and IT, helping translate business needs into process and technology requirements. 

 

 
  • Process & AI Curiosity: Curious and proactive about improving HR processes and exploring how technology and AI can simplify work and improve employee and manager experiences. 

 

  • Communication & Facilitation: Able to facilitate discussions, document outcomes, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Self-Starter & Ownership Mindset: Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently on assigned deliverables, proactively seek clarification when needed, and consistently follow through on commitments. 

Your experience includes:

 

  • Hands-on experience working with SAP SuccessFactors in a functional, business, or program-support capacity is required. 

 

  • Experience supporting HR, technology, process improvement, or transformation initiatives in a business analyst, program analyst, or related role. 

 

  • Working knowledge of HR programs and processes, including Talent, Performance, Workforce Planning, Employee Experience, or related areas. 

 

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear process documentation, requirements, and user stories. 

 

  • Experience partnering with IT, HRIS, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support successful project delivery. 

 

  • Technology fluency sufficient to understand business requirements, system capabilities, process impacts, and data dependencies when partnering with technical teams. 

 

You might also have:

 

  • Experience supporting HR or digital transformation initiatives, particularly those involving AI-enabled tools or workflows. 

 

  • Exposure to SAP Joule, Talent Intelligence Hub, Skills Intelligence Hub, or similar embedded AI capabilities. 

 

  • Familiarity with skills-based talent practices, workforce intelligence, or HR data governance concepts. 

 

  • Strong facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder communication skills. 

 

  • Change management experience, particularly in technology-enabled HR initiatives. 

 

Success Measures (Year 1): 

 

  • High-quality business requirements, process documentation, and user stories delivered for priority HR initiatives. 

 

  • Successful participation in HR transformation projects through requirements gathering, testing, and stakeholder engagement. 

 

  • Positive stakeholder feedback regarding responsiveness, documentation quality, and business partnership. 

 

  • Timely completion of testing, validation, and business readiness activities. 

 

  • Identification and documentation of process improvement opportunities supporting HR transformation objectives. 

 

  • Effective collaboration with HR, Digital Enablement, People Analytics, and IT stakeholders. 

 

Salary: The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,300.00 - $120,500.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
