About the role - you will:

The Global EHS Program/Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation and management of various EHS programs and initiatives across the organization. This position will require a strong understanding of EHS regulations, project management methodologies, and a passion for creating a safe and sustainable work environment. 

 

  • Create, update, and maintain Global EHS Corporate Standard Operating Procedures (CSOPs) and associated documentation. 
  • Provide technical expertise, training and guidance to Global EHS programs. 
  • Stay up-to-date and competent on all EHS regulations and compliance requirements and develop corrective action plans to address non-compliance. 
  • Create, update, and maintain Global EHS CSOP training content. 
  • Lead and manage EHS projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 
  • Engage cross-functionally and globally with stakeholders to ensure EHS programs address all stakeholder needs and expectations and for effective integration of EHS initiatives. 
  • Support the EHS Central Function for the ISO 14001 and 45001 standards which will include preparing for and undergoing annual internal and external audits. 
  • Support the Occupational Health team and onsite clinics by coordinating and promoting initiatives aimed at improving employee health, safety, and wellbeing. 
  • Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to promote EHS awareness and engagement among stakeholders. 
  • Assist with general EHS program administration to include maintenance of Global EHS webpage and SharePoint sites and addressing stakeholder requests or troubleshooting or performing administrative and organizational tasks as required. 
  • Assist with the management of EHS consultants to include tracking invoices, POs, budgets, addressing stakeholder or consultant questions and completing performance reviews. 

 

Hybrid Work Schedule - In the office at least 2 days a week

Your experience includes:

  • Experience writing and developing EHS standard operating procedures, work instructions, audit documents, or technical documents 
  • Experience and working knowledge of EHS laws and regulations 
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects 
  • Working knowledge with EHS Software Systems (Cority, Enablon, Intelex etc.). 
  • Understanding and experience in EHS reporting and analytics 
  • Experience in EHS operations and concepts such as incident investigations, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, chemical management, etc. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline with 2-4 years of experience.
