In this highly visible role, you will work at the intersection of AI, language, and technology to help develop and optimize Large Language Model-based analytics solutions that streamline business operations, improve access to complex data and tools, and enable faster, better-informed decision-making. These solutions will enhance existing state-of-the-art platforms by making them more intuitive, scalable, and actionable; driving higher adoption, greater productivity, and measurable efficiency gains across the organization. Our team is collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented, partnering across the organization to deliver end-to-end solutions.

About the role - you will:

 

  • You will develop and optimize Large Language Model-based analytics solutions to transform business operations.
  • Be part of a product team of about 20 data scientists, machine learning engineers, and platform engineers focused on developing and maintaining agentic solutions & machine learning solutions and big data platforms.
  • Leverage commercial (for example, Azure OpenAI) and open-source (for example, google Gemma) LLMs to build agentic solutions that help end users accelerate their daily workflows intuitively and efficiently.
  • Drive seamless integration of LLM models with existing platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Build and scale robust data connectors and knowledge bases for agentic systems.
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers to build scalable data pipelines and develop new machine learning models.
  • Design and implement tools and processes across the MLOps lifecycle, including model development, deployment, serving, monitoring, and experimentation.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business subject matter experts to enhance the end-to-end analytics platform and supporting infrastructure.

Your experience includes:

 

 

  • Experience with generative AI tools, techniques, and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, A2A, N8N and advanced RAG architectures.
  • Hands-on industry or research experience developing natural language processing models and training and deploying deep learning solutions using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Our Bloomington, MN campus (Normandale) spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate. The estimated base salary range for this position is $106,000 - $125,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
