About our group:

This Facilities Program/Project Manager position will report to the Facilities Operations group at Seagate’s manufacturing site in Bloomington, MN.  This position will be on-site Monday-Friday with daytime hours. You will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that provide lasting value to the Facilities Department and Seagate.

About the role - you will:

The Facilities Program/Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of service contracts that support workplace operations and employee experience. This role ensures that contracted services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements. The manager will serve as the primary liaison between vendors, internal stakeholders, and facilities leadership.

 

Contract Management & Oversight, administer and manage contracts for the following services:

  • Food Service (Cafeteria, Vending, Office Coffee)
  • Interior Plant Care
  • Fitness Center Operations
  • Site Reproduction Services
  • Cellular Phone Services
  • Janitorial Services
  • Shredding Services
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of service delivery and compliance.

 

Project & Program Leadership

  • Lead initiatives to improve service quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for service transitions, upgrades, or expansions.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the point of contact for internal departments regarding service needs and escalations.
  • Facilitate regular communication between vendors and internal teams.
  • Gather feedback and implement improvements based on user experience.

 

Financial & Operational Management

  • Track and manage budgets related to service contracts.
  • Support procurement processes including RFPs, contract renewals, and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

About you:

  • Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple service vendors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.

Your experience includes:

  • Experience with sustainability initiatives in facilities services.
  • Familiarity with workplace wellness and employee experience programs.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Facilities Management (FMP, CFM) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
