As an EHS Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects while gaining experience within a multi-national organization.   This internship offers hands-on experience across core EHS disciplines. Students will work with a team of established EHS professionals to respond to the day-to-day needs of a manufacturing environment.   

About the role - you will:

Students will be assigned to work on one or more of the following project areas based on their field of study and interests. 

 

Possible projects include:  

  • Implementation of new hazardous energy control (Lock-out/Tag-out) management system 

  • Waste reduction project to assess & implement opportunities to improve landfill diversion  

  • Ergonomic inventory development for manufacturing activities to reduce repetitive motion injuries 

  • Conduct personal and area chemical exposure monitoring to validate exposure controls 

  • Review data from existing process hazard assessments (PHAs) and develop auditing protocol 

 

In addition to project work, interns will participate in day-to-day EHS operations, supporting ongoing compliance efforts, and collaborating with organizations throughout the site.

About you:

 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Your experience includes:

  • Must be returning to school in Fall 2026 
  • Student in pursuit of a degree in Environmental, Occupational Health (Industrial Hygiene), Safety, Emergency Management or related field

The estimated base wage range for this position is $19 - $24/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.  The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
