About our group:

 

  • Our group is responsible for key services including capacity planning, capital budget planning and design of factory layouts, factory staffing and factory modelling.  

 

  • Design, develop, and apply engineering, mathematical models, simulation and optimization models to drive solutions to complex manufacturing problems. 

 

  • Supports and improves the performance of the Manufacturing operations

 

  • Plays a critical role in the execution of Seagate’s Product and Technology Roadmap 

About the role - you will:

 

  • Support Industrial Engineering capacity model planning, fab layout and operational performance by data tracking

 

  • Conduct time studies in the factory on tooling and wafer movement

 

  • Conduct time studies using data automation for tooling to implement into the capacity model for capacity planning

 

  • Update workflow automations for enhancements requested and tool changes

 

  • Highlights opportunities around process improvements and implements improvements in a creative and effective way

About you:

 

  • You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and have strong attention to detail.
  • You are a team player capable of working in strong partnership with and communicating effectively with a diverse group of engineers and technicians.
  • You can maintain thorough documentation of results and be able to clearly discuss them with the engineering staff.
  • You are able and willing to adapt to changing needs of a fast-paced development program.

Your experience includes:

  • Requires a minimun 4-6 years of related experience
  • Proficient with Excel, preferably advanced skills
  • Able to communicate factory actions to engineering teams
  • Successful experience in process improvement initiatives

The estimated base wage range for this position is $ 29.03 - $ 42.31/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
