About the role - you will:

 

We are seeking a skilled paralegal to join our legal contracts team. As a member of the contracts team, you will collaborate closely with and support contract managers, attorneys, and other legal professionals.

 

Primary responsibilities include: document management, contract lifecycle management, and contracts database maintenance. Other tasks include: creating electronic records and uploading documents in Apttus (Salesforce), routing documents for paralegal or attorney review/approval, as required, submitting documents for signature via DocuSign, retrieving agreements and distributing as requested, providing contracts policy and process training to internal partners and providing general support on special projects.

  • Excellent attention to detail, demonstrate initiative to take on projects and drive to completion
  • Communicate effectively with senior internal and external personnel
  • Successfully collaborate across multiple sites with peers to produce results
  • Demonstrate ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion
  • Proven time management skills and ability to prioritize and utilize resources as available

Your experience includes:

 

  • Legal contracts in a corporate or law firm setting
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software tool, preferably Apttus
  • MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint: must be able to perform basic edit tracking functions, create and utilize basic formulas in Excel and create PowerPoint presentations
  • MS Sharepoint
  • Basic understanding of the contract lifecycle including initiation, evaluation, approval, tracking, renewal, and termination
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects 
  • Applying policies & procedures to solve routine issues and problems
  • Paralegal certificate

Hybrid work structure based out of our Bloomington, MN site. Hybrid work expectations are a minimum of 1 day a week in the office.
