About the role - you will:
• Be responsible for the core HDD market ecosystem and distributor management.
• Strengthen the exploration and maintenance of Edge ecosystem customers.
• Plan and direct all revenue activities including planning and implementing forecasts, developing and managing business plans that address revenue growth and market share
• Directly develop and execute Seagate strategy, including value propositions and new opportunity development
• Develop and coordinate executive level relationships with accounts and Seagate's internal executives
• Develop and deliver proposals that address the customer’s business needs and provide benefits to drive predictable longer term revenues. Equally important, you must be able to balance those customer needs with Seagate objectives looking for the win-win
• Liaison with different Seagate teams and functional areas to establish internal buy-in and matrix support required during the revenue cycle
• Provides strategic leadership and management to a multi-function organization or complex, integrated single function.
About you:
• Experience of managing top accounts in IT industry is a plus
• Hardware solution experiences is a plus, skilled and experienced with the hardware ecosystem
• Ability to think outside the box and innovate with technology partners and industry thought leaders will be essential
• Previous knowledge of the emerging vertical segment in business development
• Thrive in a highly competitive environment
• A good leader with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work with autonomy, highly self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
• Ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of management
Your experience includes:
• Emerging verticals either in business development or revenue activities
• Uncovering customer needs and potential market trends to formulate a customer strategy in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• A solid track record growing revenue with a consultative MARKETING mindset (HDD, SSD, Server/Storage solution)
• Resolving complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Developing high levels of credibility and forge solid/positive professional relationships with subordinates, peers and upper management.
• Working in growing teams
• Experience representing a multinational corporation
• Worked with larger-scale corporations
