About our group:

Our Software Development Department is a dynamic and collaborative team based in China. We are dedicated to developing and maintaining a wide range of applications that support Seagate's global drive-related manufacturing operations. Our work involves creating and enhancing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other critical software solutions that help improve production efficiency and operational maintenance across multiple sites. We value innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning, and we are committed to delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our global manufacturing processes.

About the role - you will:

•    Assist in developing and maintaining software applications using .NET technologies
•    Participate in various stages of software projects, including requirements analysis, coding, and unit testing
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and suggest improvements
•    Help maintain existing software applications and participate in optimization projects

•    Write relevant technical documentation to support knowledge sharing within the team
 

About you:

•    Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
•    Good communication skills in Mandarin, able to effectively communicate with team members
•    Basic understanding of .NET development; familiarity with C#
•    Knowledge of Java or Python is a plus
•    Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 

Your experience includes:

•    Experience with programming and software development projects
•    Familiarity with basic operations of Oracle or other database management systems
•    Hands-on experience with real-world projects, gaining deep insights into manufacturing software solutions
