The Americas Pricing team determines and executes pricing of Seagate products in conjunction with the Sales and Product Line Management organizations. The team has the unique opportunity to influence increasing data storage requirements of customers in both B2C and B2B IT segments at a variety of channels ranging from Brick and Mortar/ E-commerce Platforms / Traditional IT Channels and Value-Added IT Channels.

 

The Americas Pricing Analyst will hold the responsibility of managing key E-Commerce partner pricing within the Americas region while working with stakeholders to sustain successful execution and focus on corporate revenue and margin goals.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Responsible for executing pricing playbooks including in-quarter tactical pricing actions as necessary to optimize business performance.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the “price waterfall” - from list price formation to discounting and rebate framework.
  • Develop the cadence and process to in-quarter review and execution for the Americas E-commerce business
  • Monitor, decide and communicate weekly/monthly pricing actions to achieve key deliverables.
  • Work with cross functional teams to drive compilation and analysis of customer, market and competitive intelligence.
  • Perform ongoing pricing research and analysis to support price strategy formulation as well as tactical decisions as necessary within a dynamic market environment.
  • Continually innovate your end-to-end pricing processes in order to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Review, decide and execute pricing programs to countries/customers in a timely manner.
  • Create new product pricing, maintain pricing master list and manage product EOL (End of Life) processes.

About you:

 

  • Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts – supported by strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit strong skills in communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively.
  • Identifies relevant and effective data sources with tenacity, proposing solutions to identified issues. Comfort with managing large and varied datasets.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Extensive experience in pricing/business/financial planning and analysis, preferably supporting product management or sales functions.
  • BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Sales Operations, or related field or equivilant experience.

The estimated base salary range for this position: $89,414 – $130,900. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills.
