Engineering Specialist III

About our group:

We are Drive R&D operation team, we work closely with the head designer and the electrical engineering team. We build and test the transducer design in drive form according to the customer request.

About the role - you will:

• Maintain, repair and ensure the equipment/machines are in good condition, high efficiency and low downtime.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of production machinery and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and repairs to reduce downtime and increase the lifespan of equipment/machines.
• Monitor inventory of tools and maintenance supplies, order parts as needed.
• Work with maintenance engineer and team to setup and qualify the new hardware, software and firmware.
• Be assigned on additional tasks and responsibilities that will positively contribute towards team, department and company goals.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge in Hard Disk Drives manufacturing is preferable.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and equipment/machine repair.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and machinery, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of using Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
