Slider process engineer II

About our group:

Slider product and process department is Slider mass manufacturing with a sustainable or better operation, quality, and productivity including improving product performance/process and technology to support existing product requirements and new production requirements. 

About the role - you will:

  • Work on Product engineering in ERS or MSMR products, including Slider process in Machine Front/Back area.
  • Monitoring Product performance and key CTQs (critical to quality) mainly focus on slider mechanical/electrical CTQs from various areas and CHIRP or clearance at HGA, including WPE at the customer level.
  • Using data analytics skills to drill down to identify the root cause of KPIVs/KPOVs problem and downstream failure related to slider mechanical CTQs related.
  • Establish and maintain product performance procedures and administrative training programs to ensure proper CTQs function and maintain the pack out per commitment.

About you:

  • Familiar with statistical and data analysis skills, be able to use Minitab or JMP is a plus.
  • Be able to handle a huge amount of data or big-data skills is a must.
  • Mechanic/Electronic and electrical skills (electronic and electrical circuit analysis).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude/thinking and providing exemplary customer service.

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with almost 20,000 employees.
