Senior Mechanical Design

About our group:

TH-EDE (Thailand Equipment Design Engineer) is mechanical design senior engineer for HSA LCA Equipment to support cross LCA equipment productivity improvement and new equipment

About the role - you will:

  • Work in Korat HSA (Head Stack Assembly) factory reporting to TH-EDE (Thailand Equipment Design Engineer)
  • Design concepts and solutions to meet project and customer requirements, and provide evidence of conformance, including the preparation of Design Scheme Data Packs.
  • Prepare and present Design Scheme Data Packs and engineering detail for internal and external review with a customer.
  • Be competent in the management and verification of requirements using appropriate tool
  • Be technical specialists as required (e.g. for FEA analysis, specialist calculations, solid works CAD)
  • Review the work of other Senior Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers.
  • Prepare, review and approve that drawings are correct to required standards, that they reflect design intent correctly, and that they adequately define parts for manufacture and inspection.
  • Support the Lead Mechanical Engineers and Management with other tasks and activities as required.
  • Support and service that enable factory to meet their business goal by delivering HSA equipment development at the high-quality level with fast response time and lowest cost solution.
  • Delivery high quality equipment to manufacturing floor in an on-time basis with best utilization of technical resource and delivery equipment to support factory efficiency improvement.

  • Excellent teamwork, leadership and coach ability
  • Capable of communicating in complex technical material with groups outside of engineering and any support functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, organization and team skills, mentoring, training and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively plan, control and take responsibility for a group's results
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English communication both spoken and written
