Our Object Storage is S3 compatible and positioned for multiple data-intensive use cases - including backend for backup and archive, big data analytics, and several others across industry verticals.

Lyve Cloud Engineering is an agile fast-moving team, responsible for building, operating, and managing Seagate’s cloud infrastructure, API and fully automated CI/CD pipeline. A blend of skillsets and diverse background make this a cross-functional team that delivers the technology that serves millions of daily active users.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Create business requirement documents into use cases, functional and technology specifications
  • Be responsible for requirements gathering, functional requirements, user stories and documenting business/data/application/technology architectures, requirements and business rules
  • Provide business process models/design, logical data models, standards and guidance
  • Handle documenting and explaining problems and works to resolve software defects, whilst ensuring technical compatibility and end user satisfaction
  • Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness
  • Work on all other duties as assigned by Leadership

  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented and an effective communicator
  • Must be flexible and demonstrate strong judgment/decision-making skills
  • Passionate about making systems more efficient, more reliable and more secured
  • Good attention to detail
  • Degree/Diploma in Information Technology with relevant senior working experience as business analyst role or equivalent. Junior applicants with relevant experience are welcome to apply
  • Certification in Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an added advantage

Your experience includes:

 

 

  • At least 5 years of solid Business Analyst skills, including experiences in gathering, documenting business requirements and performing process mapping
  • Excellent experience in documenting technology requirements, requirement analysis tools / methodologies (e.g. UML, ERD, Jira) and application of Lucid Chart
  • Effective problem solving, analytical skills and ability to think creatively
  • Able to explain technical details and well-versed in documenting the functional specifications and system specifications
  • Demonstrate project management skills and experience
  • Background in Object Storage is advantageous
